CWI Preparatory

This course is designed for individuals with experience in the welding and welding inspection field who desire to achieve the status of an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). Persons without actual inspection experience should consider taking, “Applications of Visual Welding Inspection” prior to this course or the 10 day format of the CWI Preparatory. Students out of the training/testing environment for some time should consider the 7 day format. The CWI Preparatory course offers training experiences designed to prepare individuals meeting the work experience requirements of the AWS QC-1 program to successfully pass the CWI Exam. The attendee may elect to test with either of the Code book selections offered by AWS. A battery of over 1500 questions will be formally asked and answered during the course. This course is offered in 5 day, 7 day or 10 day format. Your application to AWS must be received by Real Educational Services no later than 7 weeks prior to the test date.
